Kenna 6 months

I can't believe you are six months already. It seems like yesterday I was taking your 3 month pictures! Didn't you love the flower gardens we kept sticking you in? Miss South Dakota???

I had the pleasure of taking these pictures of an amazing young woman who is running for Miss South Dakota. Her name is Marshondria Adams. In the hour we spent together I gathered that she has the passion, wisdom, beauty, and belief to become Miss South Dakota. I know I will definitely be cheering her on as I hope you will to. 3yr old Mattie + 2 week old Jenna= One Busy Mom

I had the pleasure of taking these beautiful photographs of baby Jenna and her big sister Mattie, who kept her mom hopping. Towards the end of the session I bribed Mattie to take a few more pictures by letting her see Tang, my orange cat who doesn't have a tail. Tang kept Mattie's mind occupied for the reminder of the shoot. Baby Jenna is so precious, I almost wanted to keep her, but at that moment my one year old reminded me that she's my baby and there isn't anymore room at the Shanks house. I guess Mattie and Jenna will just have to come visit! I want to say "Thanks!" to my brother-in-law (Tim Larsen Photography in Brainerd,MN) for letting my borrow his awesome indoor lighting. So now my indoor studio is officially open! May God Bless you as you rap up your summer!

Baby Sully

Big Brother Lincoln loves his baby brother Sully so much. I thought this was a great pictures of the two brothers!



I had the pleasure of taking some pictures of my friends 9 day old little boy named, Sullivan, but they have already bestowed the nickname "Sully" to him. His is a beautiful little boy, but has some medical concerns. Please say an extra prayer for Sully and his family today. One prayer goes a long ways. His mom told me she's had the verse "I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made" Psalms 139:14 on her mind a lot lately. Isn't it true though? I just have to believe that God has a tremendous plan for little Sully and I can't wait to see what it is. God Bless-
